Lakeridge Candle Company started as a project in a college business class. I had to create a fake company from scratch—and I chose candles. Something about them stuck with me: the scent, the mood, the way a fragrance could tell a whole story. Even though it was just an assignment, something sparked.
Years later, I found myself still thinking about it. So, I started making candles for real—testing, failing, starting over. I wasn’t sure I had what it took to turn it into something real. I almost gave up.
But my girlfriend at the time (now my wife) looked me dead in the eye and said:
“You can’t quit. You’re too good at this.”
That changed everything.

What started as a “what if” turned into a full-blown passion project. And now? It’s become a business built on heart, hard work, and the belief that every scent tells a story.
At Lakeridge, I handcraft each candle, wax melt, and room spray in small batches using premium ingredients—coconut wax blends, rich fragrance oils, clean burns, and beautiful vessels. Each scent has a name and a story—because scent isn’t just something you smell. It’s something you feel.
