Whether it’s your favorite candle, a signature wax melt, or a room spray that sets the mood, here’s everything you need to know to get the most from your products—and make sure your space is filled with fragrance the way it was meant to be.

Candle Care 101

Trim Your Wick

Before every burn, trim the wick to about ¼ inch. This helps control the flame, prevent soot, and keeps your candle burning clean.

First Burn = Full Melt Pool

On your first use, let the candle burn until the wax pool reaches the edge of the container (about 2-4 hours depending on size). This prevents tunneling and sets the tone for future burns.

Don’t Burn Too Long

Never burn your candle more than 4 hours at a time. Doing so can overheat the wax or cause the wick to shift.

Burn on Heat-Safe Surfaces

Always place your candle on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts and flammable objects.

Stop Use When 1/2 Inch of Wax Remains

This protects your container from heat damage.

Wax Melt Wisdom

Use the Right Warmer

Not all warmers are created equal. If you’re using a Scentsy-style electric warmer made for their wax, it might not get hot enough to release strong fragrance from our melts. Look for warmers with a 25W or 40W bulb (or equivalent hot plate) to maximize scent throw.

Tealight Caution

Using a tealight burner? Make sure it’s designed specifically for wax melts. Some oil burners don’t get hot enough, or worse, get too hot too fast and burn off the scent prematurely.

Don’t Add Water

Just wax. No water. Ever.

Mix & Match? Sure!

You can combine scents for a custom blend—just make sure not to overflow the dish.

Clean Between Uses

Let the wax cool and harden before removing. Some waxes pop out easily, others don’t—especially in tealight burners. Here are a few cleaning tricks:

• Cotton Ball Method: While the wax is still warm (but not hot), drop in a few cotton balls to soak it up. Then simply toss them.
• Freeze & Pop: If your burner can be safely placed in the freezer, a few minutes of chilling will cause the wax to shrink and pop out.
• Paper Towel Wipe: Warm the dish just enough to soften the wax, then wipe it clean with a paper towel.

Room Spray Real Talk

Shake Before Use

Our room sprays contain powerful fragrance and sometimes odor-eliminating components. Shake well to mix the magic.

Where to Spray

Spray into the air for a quick scent boost, or target fabric surfaces like:

• Throw pillows
• Base of window curtains (great scent cling!)
• Rugs (test a small area first)
• Entry mats
• Inside closets or linen cabinets

What NOT to Spray

Avoid spraying directly onto:

• Painted or finished wood surfaces
• Leather or delicate fabrics
• Electronics

Keep Away from Pets, Kids & Food Areas

It’s safe for the air but not for snacking. Store your spray in a cool, dry place.
